Much depends on Who You Are why the album's release was brought forward at one month in order to benefit from the success of the first two singles from Jessie J in the British charts. If any singer has what it takes, the British Katy Perry or Pink to be and to put millions of CDs and downloads, then there is this young lady: This album is chock full of infectious, Americanized songs that will be presented with a confidence that can not buy. However, it is an album with two very different halves: the boastful meaner numbers - the ubiquitous "Do it Like a Dude" and "price tag" and in the big band style "Momma Knows Best " and a crispy piece of minimalism called" LOVE " - are in a different class than the ballads. Jessie once lived in Los Angeles, what the ballad is to be heard clearly: "Who You Are" is a self-empowerment lament in the style of Lady Gaga s "Born This Way" and 'Big White Room " is warbling nonsense. Without the slow numbers, this would become a fine pop album.
